One of my first websites

This is one of the first websites I ever made. The code shows that I was still learning, but I see a lot of potential in the design. I originally built it for my wife, who was planning to start a nail salon. That gave me a real-world opportunity to collaborate with someone, understand their needs, and turn their vision into something tangible. It helped me get hands-on with things like accessibility, responsiveness, performance, and writing cleaner, more efficient CSS.

The project had to shift

Her plans changed, and she won’t be using the site for the foreseeable future. But I didn’t want to just throw the project away. I liked what I had started, and I saw an opportunity to turn it into something more useful — something that could be adapted and reused.

Reusability

This SPA works well as a lightweight, minimal online presence for any small business. The layout, content structure, and style are easy to repurpose — just swap out the text and colors. My plan now is to clean up and refactor the code, polish the design, and make it a product I can offer to others who need a simple and affordable website fast.

Like the look and feel of this site? Soon, you’ll be able to buy it as a template. I’m currently improving the codebase, tightening the styling, and making sure everything is as developer-friendly and production-ready as possible. Once it’s ready, it’ll be available for €100 (excl. VAT), with full access to the source code and documentation.
