Real-World Learning in a Live Build

This was one of the first websites I built — a single-page app for a Polish nail salon, originally created in collaboration with a former colleague. The build gave me a concrete opportunity to align design with real client intent while developing stronger instincts for accessibility, responsiveness, and performance.

Adaptable by Design

Plans changed, and the site didn’t go live — but the project still stands as a strong, lightweight solution that can be adapted to similar business needs. The layout is modular, the UI focused, and the delivery clean—built for simplicity without sacrificing quality.

Iterative Value

I revisited the code and structure to refine my process and expand reusability across projects. This one laid early groundwork for how I approach minimal product scopes: practical, reliable, and production-ready without unnecessary complexity.

“Björn designed a stunning website for my upcoming nail salon. Even though I didn’t end up launching the business, the site felt professional and ready to go from day one.” — Joanna Kielar
